St. John’s Episcopal Parish Gift Shop

This annual fundraising Fair has been a tradition of St. John's for many years. Parishioners and others take part using their creative energy to handcraft items, bake homemade goods, donate jewelry, children's gifts, pet gifts, put together gift baskets and so much more. There is also a very popular raffle of donated items. The luncheon that accompanies the Fair is outstanding! The menu offers chowder, hot dogs, chicken salad rolls, and the ever popular lobster rolls among other delicious freshly prepared items.

Preparation for this Fair goes on throughout the year so everyone involved is usually very tired by the end of it all, but always says what a great time they've had. This offers the greatest opportunity to be involved a little or a lot. It is an excellent time for fellowship where we all come together for one great cause.... St. John’s.

If you want to help out in any way, please contact Catherine Belcher, 617-846-1019 or Dona O’Donnell, (treasurer32@aol.com).

Snowflake Fair

Since it falls at the exact right time, this year’s Harvest Dinner Dance will be a celebration of 125 years of Faith & Fellowship at St. John’s Episcopal Parish in Winthrop! We will have the same scrumptious fare as always but we will also have a display of some of our parish history, raffle items, and music provided by a talented DJ for our dancing pleasure.

We are eager to include as many people who have been touched by St. John’s in our celebration as possible! We will be sending out formal invitations after Labor Day. Please send Carol Connolly (risingtide1@comcast.net) the names & addresses of anyone you think should be included. We are especially interested in re-kindling our relationship with people who may have been active members in the past but due to re-location, college, changing interests, etc. may have lost touch. All ages welcome.
